Dealing with Calvin takes incredible constitution.

Apparently in the US you can divorce your parents in some states. In others, they divorce you when you turn 18, by putting your stuff on the porch and changing the locks.

A little learning can be a dangerous thing.

I’m sure they’re equally thrilled about the prospect, Calvin.

There was a C&H that expressed it well. Mom and Dad are sitting reading when Calvin walks by. Suddenly she screams “It was your chromosome!”

I like the little bit of smile on Dad’s face in panel 4 compared to the neutral expression in 2.

You only have one Dad and one Mum, Calvin. Cherish them.

Forget it, Kiddo. Your Dad is here to stay (and Mom, too, for that matter!). And, unfortunately, parents often rule with dictatorial impunity! You see, it’s all in the Book that automatically comes with being a parent. But, alas, you only get to have that Book when it’s too late not to have a kid!
