Had a honey locust tree in the backyard when I was a kid. It has very tiny leaves that are good at clogging gutters. It has seed pods. It isn’t an evergreen so it does shed. They can get very big. Mom had it taken down when my grandmother started to worry it would fall on the house in a storm.

Boy are they in for a surprise, if the tree lives in their care.

One I don’t believe Burl is smart enough to do the garden next to it is the cesspool when everyone in it will drain into garden and kill everything.

If you want a tree that doesn’t spread out much, consider your family tree.

The only tree that meets that criteria is a dead tree!
