Go in at 10:00, let them know you are there, take note of the “wait time” sign, go down the road for breakfast, be back by 10:45. Problem solved.

    OR

Wait in the car and listen to some romantic music, who knows what might come up.

    OR

bring a book with you and read, buncha things they could do.

Jeff… the issue is that they arrive horrifically EARLY. I have relatives who do this. They do this for appointments, they do this when we invite them to dinner, they do this at every event they participate it. It is, honestly, quite aggravating to invite people to come over for dinner at 5pm and they show up at 3pm when we do not have anything prepared or ready. It is aggravating. That is how the Penny Crew is behaving. Take home message…. if you are invited somewhere and are told that you should arrive at say, 4 o’clock….. do not show up until 3:45 at the earliest! It is rude and stressful to the hosts to show up two hours early!

They needed the extra hour to “case the joint” for stuff they could stick in their pockets and other craftily installed cubbyholes to cart off home.

There’s an office pool. Whoever can make the Penny’s wait the longest gets lunch. .There is a mystery that confounds the staff. How can the Penny’s always clean out the free breath mint bowl and still have breath that smells like a zombie’s armpit.
