Ok, time to fess up. How many of us living where there was ice and snow in the middle of winter would try Snoopy’s kind of ice skating on the school playground during recess? I mean no skates, just sliding on the ice in our boots or sneakers like we were wearing skates. I know I did so once or twice.
I used to skate in upstate NY on the Hudson River in just my boots when the river was frozen. Of course, those were the years before global warming. I doubt it freezes now to trust it for this kind of kid-play.
