Pet toothpaste is substantially different from human toothpaste. The most important reason? Just try to teach your pet to rinse and spit rather than swallow. There is stuff in human toothpaste that is seriously bad for you if you swallow it. The hard part is training your pet to allow you to brush their teeth. The chopper grease has to taste good to them or you have no chance.

a friend told me, he’d staggered in late 1 night into his fiancee’s home, w/her 3 kids, brushed his teeth in the dark, and fell into bed, and said 2 words, BUBBLE GUM. plus, he’s a guy with zero taste for sweets

I don’t care if I’m not a dog! I’ll use the bacon flavored toothpaste anyway!
