This guy draws for the 0.1%? No wounder nobody under 40 reads this stuff.

Yep, having Willard the ChickenHawk pay more than 12% tax on his income is just wrong.

Worse, having people (corporations) like GE pay any tax is just beyond horrible.

I am all for a little filet of those who have most of the wealth and income. You can’t get much money out of the poor and the middle class continues to lose ground which means they will soon qualify as poor. What did Willie Sutton say when asked why he robbed banks? “That were the money is”

A higher minimum wage will bankrupt business but record executive pay is good for business.

Well, he got this exactly right. My summary of the debate was: Avowed socialism on display; who can give the most tax money away to buy votes under the guise of “compassion,” “caring,” and “fairness”. Sums up the Democrat party.

Deciding that I could quit reading any comment as soon as the words “Democrat party” came along is something I have never regretted, and never will.

Corporate profits up, Dow up, CEO earnings WAY up, salaries flat for several decades. They’re overlooking what Henry Ford said about paying his employees enough to buy the products they make. But of course, Chinese workers aren’t shopping at WalMart.
