Actually life began about 2.5 billion years ago and hasn’t stopped since.

In truth, “Pro-Life” begins with Deception.

This deception will be the downfall of Fiorina for it exposes her for what she is – a failed CEO who would like to be POTUS but reveals she is willing to lie and deceive to make a point, which puts her in the same league as the Bush presidency. We don’t need that type of character when deciding whether to attack Iran or engage in any other misadventure.

This cartoon says it all. It would be a lot easier to respect the Pro-Life position, even if I don’t agree with it, if there weren’t so many in that camp who believe that the ends justify the means (in this case, lying through their teeth).

I always thought life begins at Forty. I read that somewhere, long before the internet.

I always thought that if a woman and a man didn’t plan their parenthood, they would go and take the option to abort the baby to avoid rising the child. Now I’m told that aborting a child is planing a parenthood. wouldn’t make more sense to prevent having a child, especially when there are so many options. I find the liberal and democrats post and comments fall very neatly with the intentions of keeping people ignorant. Never mind thinking of consequences before sexual intercourse, the baby can always be terminated before is born. I have never read or heard a liberal mention the responsibility of parents in teaching their children the risks of unprotected sex, liberal prefer dealing with the already made mistake rather than teaching to avoid the mistake. Notice that I said the parents’ responsibility, if left to the government (or schools) it is sure to fail. Sex education in schools is like cattle processing, if a child gets fine, if not there always abortion. No personal responsibility.

Since different religions have different views on this topic, and we live in America where there is religious tolerance, why try to pick a particuar religion’s moral code as a guide for America when it would be easier to migrate to a theoracy of your choosing, that exactly matches your convictions, and leave us in peace. http://www.pewforum.org/2013/01/16/public-opinion-on-abortion-slideshow/

Sperm and ovum are living human cells, so “life” begins BEFORE conception. So the next step is making masturbation, and having your period illegal, and of course, punishable by death, just like Leviticus calls for in almost every offense imaginable. Yep, that “pro-life” bible teachings at the base of all three major divisions of faiths of “the book”.

I’d say the deception is on the PP side, not on the pro-life side. I work for a Pregnancy Resource Center, and we know EXACTLY how Planned Parenthood is working hard to deceive women (and men, as well).

Cerabooge said, about 5 hours ago @Zme Exactly. My question for the “life begins at conception” people is “how do you define ‘life’”?-to cera and every reader, who are here on earth “alive with LIFE”…thanks to Creator God giving Father Adam “life” and giving life to all Adam’s family by the process of father & mother conceiving “Life” and 9 months later birthing a LIVE human baby who given care and protection will be an adult who can contribute to society by work, paying taxes, voting, and raising the next Generation of Living Humans!

@martens is fed upYou have answered your own questions; now you are just looking for someone to argue with. If you think that the luck of resources is a valid reason for an abortion; you need to do a bit more research. There ARE many, many people who are unable to procreate children, who would be happily willing to take a baby in their fold.Interestingly enough Martens.. your words seem to put the blame for a birth on the child, when the blame is on the lack of planing from the parents, a subject you, either in purpose or ignorantly, completely avoid. Most pro-life people think that, if a mother’s life is in peril, rape and incest are the only valid reason for an abortion, any thing else is a punishment on a child for the carelessness of the parents. Question: how often and how much have you contributed to feed and clothe a child in the last year? Again most pro-life people contribute a lot, but they prefer that you do not find out, because they know what your reaction will be, hate and insults.

@sofartotheleftimrightYour comment is kind of personal, but I’ll grace it with a response any way; after our third child was born, my wife and I decided that three children was enough for us, so we stop the pill and she had her tubes cut. Now we enjoy a healthy, and frequent sex life. I never said I was perfect, what I’m saying is we had the common sense to talk and plan our lives, if you think that is perfect, then your standards are in the gutter. As a general rule people plan for retirement, they plan to by a house, what’s wrong with planing your parenthood, before you begin, that is just plain common sense. I’m guessing you have none.

Margaret Sanger started PP because she was a racist who wanted to get rid of black people and Jews, and she could best do that by getting rid of them before they were even born. What a wonderful person to have for a founder (no one said EVER).

It’s not an “other” until it can live on its own. As long as it is part of my body, I will do with it as I choose. Luckily I never had to make that decision, but if I had needed it, I was glad to know the safety net was there.
