I don’t think there’s that neglected a ’57 Chevy in all of Cuba. Which, maybe they can teach US something about maintaining infrastructure and not supporting “planned obsolesence”.

I hope Cuba is prepared for the Invasion of the Antique Car Dealers..There are going to be bidding Wars all Over the island as soon as it’s legal for US Cargo Ships to start hauling those cars back to the USA..It wouldn’t surprise me to see a few enterprising collectors fill the ships with New Toyotas & Chevys before heading to Cuba and offering to trade “New” for Old, even up..

The latest conservative strategy of choice if you can’t beat them militarily is to isolate them. Cuba didn’t work and Iran is the latest “isolate” du jour. Its another American strategy to rule the world and another strategy that will fail, but destabilize, and make the U.S. look stupid. Better to accept the political and ideological differences of nations and cultures and work with those differences.

And once again, Bennett produces a masterpiece.
