Taking control so early in life, Poncho!

Now how did Poncho get his name anyway?

Orlando, the gay puppy, gave it to him.

You can see the future dog by looking closely at the puppy.

I’m glad someone’s standing up to that adorable, snuggly-wuggly tyrant.

It could beens Blotches!

Where’s mom in all this? Where’s the PARENTS???!!?!!!!

Two bucks says tomorrow Orlando and some of the other puppies beat Poncho up

Throughout his life whenever thoughts of Orlando come to mind, so will thoughts of Disneyworld.

Nomenclature is destiny. I named my dog “Bert” so he wouldn’t get any high-falutin’ ideas…

Call me what my friends call me —Sir I don’t have many friends and nobody calls

and so it begins !

There might be something to this idea of the puppies naming themselves. When we get a new pet during the coming up with a name process that the one that gets pick is always the one the pet responds to.

Hey - Poncho had coffee, Orlando has an ascot – where the heck are these dogs shopping so early in life? :)

I would like to see Blotch appear in future strips. See what he’s up to these days.

Is Bert grouchy? If you want a happy puppy, a better name is Ernie.

Bert passed from this life some time ago, but his life was long (as dogs’ lives go) and happy (so far as he let on).

He had already been named before I discovered P.G. Wodehouse, but I retroactively decided he was named after Bertie Wooster…

So we are convinced the puppy doing the naming is Poncho and “Blotch” isn’t???
