If you are smart enough try to make a list…for starters take Iran, Iraq, Israel, Hamas, Afghanistan, Turkey, just to name a few… Grece, the Euro, Healthcare, Financial institutioins, Immigration, the oil spill, the Oil Industry… unemployment, any thing else on your mind?

Actually re-making disasters has been done, but it was 41 and re-make with 43– the latter was far worse, the “producers” were Cheney, Rumsfeld and Rove. Hmmm, the theory in that comedy was also the intention to lose money– yep- 43 did that.

Isn’t it possible that the Prez?? and the First Lady??? preferred to go on a date instead of addressing the real issue?? What a hoot! Let’s respect our country FIRST!

Sure, we don’t expect a president to keep 9-5 office hours during a time of crisis (or 10-4, if he’s named Ronald Reagan), but he’s not allowed to see a movie with his wife so long as a single problem is unfixed? 18-hour work days, 7 days a week? At the site, I hope they’re working round-the-clock, but I’d still imagine they take it in shifts.

Actually, the biggest liberty Lukovich is taking here is having them see the movie in a theater. There’s a screening room in the White House, and he can get first-run movies delivered whenever he wants them. (It’s a security issue as much as a perk of the office - since 1865 I’d imagine every president thinks twice before casually taking in a show at a public theater.)

Of course, it was just a spoof on the prez’ date! ( You don’t get it!! frizoid??)

Sorry, artiste2. There’ve been enough people who have posted in earnest that Obama shouldn’t have attended this ceremony or taken that trip or whatever that I missed your sarcasm.

Howgozit, Pee Wee Herman is tough enough to not even make my 2 year old granddaughter cry; now that is tough : )
