This is by far my favorite strip. Richard, maybe you could do more with the pets? I just love Mr. Danford

That’s “Mr. Danders”, not “Danford” (although by rights, it ought to be “Dr. Danders” by now…)

Mitigation of the offense in light of an aggravated cause (i.e. “He was asking for it”) may have a legal term, but it’s not a defense that modern judges will look upon favorably. In fact, if Paileocephalics are defined as a protected class under the state Hate-Crime provisions, Alice might consider herself to have gotten off lightly…

Is it PC to say that? Where’s the ACLU?

Luck has nothing to do with it. Even if RT doesn’t win the voting, Alice will have claimed the trophy (“MINE!”) as soon as it’s brought to the podium. Who’s going to take it away from her? Pig and Rat? K2 and an upside-down bird?

If he brings Alice to the ceremony, he’ll end up taking home awards he wasn’t even nominated for…

I agree. I met Richard two years ago. It has been years since I have laughed at a comic strip and CDS had me snorting out loud(which is really gross btw). Not only is Richard one of the greatest cartoonist ever, he is one of the nicest human beings I have ever met. Its fun to know we are reading the early years of what one day will be considered one of the all time great strips.(or is it already) Win or loose tonight doesn’t matter. He has showed us what a true hero is in life. He makes the best of everything given to him and he makes us laugh and in return that makes the world a little brighter. Im just glad to have stumbled across him and asked “who are you?” Did he ever answer that question!

You rock Richard! Keeps us snorting and smiling!

Ever notice how Dan Piraro’s head looks like a bucket?

Well thats a shame.

I read Bizzaro every now and again, and always have one of three reactions.

I don’t get it. I get it, its not funny. I get it, its not funny and its gross.

All things Cul De sac has avoided. I can honestly say every time I read a strip I laugh or at least smile.

Hope that’s enough of a Rueban for you. At least this year.
