With the hypersensitivity of today, I am surprised that the Barlings got away with the racist sentiments in the names of those four calves. The media has crusaded against things a lot less obvious.

Wrong. There IS a Definition:.From Wikipedia:.In a strict definition, a firearm must have at least the following characteristics to be considered an assault rifle:.. It must be an individual weapon. It must be capable of selective fire. FYI: An “assault rifle” is any rifle that fires fully automatic. That is, it continues to fire as long as the trigger is depressed and there is ammo. The U.S. M-16 and the Russian AK-47 are the most famous “assault rifles” in use today. The semi-auto versions owned by civilians are NOT “assault rifles”. And considering the cost of ammo, and the lack of a place to legally fire a firearm in St. Louis, I will cook bacon the old fashioned way, in a skillet.
