If you could change anything about how we parented the kids, what would it be? Oh, that's easy. I would've done all the diapers. Why? Diapers got the best chore cross-section. Chores have two qualities: E his level of easiness. P is level of perceived difficulty. If you put them on a scale of 1 to 10. The perfect score is E-P=100. If I had it to do over, I would've called doing diapers. It's the easiest thing about parenting and everyone thinks it's the hardest. While your spouse is diaper-naïve, it has a chore cross-section of 100! But, once the diaper-naïve spouse does a diaper, P falls to 1, making the cross-section a mere 10. So yeah, if I could have it over again, I'd have done all the diapers and told you how gross and terrible it was, and you'd have been none the wiser. Wow! What a life it could've been. I was hoping we'd have a moment there. You didn't?

Yeah, well, maybe disposable diapers. I had to do cloth diapers for two kids at one time, and no professional diaper service. Still, some hilarious, gross moments. As I lie in power-saver mode in Sheol, even those memories will be welcome.
