I’d rather be outside, even if I’m doing the same thing. My kids will run around and then come back and sit with me. And we end up talking with neighbors, so that’s nice too.
the air usually smells better outside. faint hints of flowers, maybe (one of my favourites) the smell of freshly-mown grass. A feeling of not being cooped up. away from various responsibilities, like laundry, cooking meals, straightening out the house… yes, they all still need to be done, but for a little while they’re not in your face.
somehow I find being outdoors more relaxing, the way they’re doing it here. Hey! None of them is feeling worse than they did before!
dkram and Frodo, MY air here in Phoenix is FINE, but a little hot (high 90s) today. I’m still avoiding using the AC by taking a little dip in the pool at dusk and cross-ventilating - AND I LOVE my garden ;-) I see the joke however that they were doing the same, but I love to read in the garden with the sounds of birds and waterfall…

I’m surprise that Max isn’t playing and running now outside. Tipcal teen just lazying around. If his friends where around he would be elsewhere.
