A woman and a man look at piles of money meant to represent women's pay and men's pay. The men's pile is larger. Man: In this day & age, these $20 bills should have a woman on them.
Looking at the number of women being appointed by Obama, and having watched the rise of women in federal agencies over actually the last 25 years or so, management positions, pointing finger at the feds, or Obama, is ignorance on a grand scale. Now in the corporate world, even with Carly, the picture ain’t as good. That’s for doing the SAME job as men Look at the “women’s role” jobs, and the picture remains far worse.
The years of the women being mommy first and worker secong, and that nasty time off for pregnancy and child rearing, is still the mantra in conservative circles, even as the make policy that forces “Mommy” to work outside the home to survive. (And that’s not counting those who do, simply because they want a shinier car, or make payments they can’t afford on a bigger house to keep up with the Joneses, but not the Dow.)

In my town, women average slightly better than men. Probably because we have a high percentage of young Marines.

Most women want to get their hands on money, not their faces.
