Whew! Dill is certainly melodramatically over-the-top and just full of loud sound effects today!Tell it, Foley-man!

Reminds me of P.D.Q. Bach’s “Concerto for Piano vs. Orchestra”.

Sounds like the Looney Tunes with Bugs as the concert pianist doing “The Hungarian Rhapsody” and the mouse interfering, including the classic boogie-woogie interlude.

In his day, Victor Borge could give the piano a run for its money.

In his day, Victor Borge was a great piano comedian. After writing this, I had to watch him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfKqzN5MZYU&index=3&list=PL0786C55F8B686C5Fwas cute!

Never underestimate the power of a well-made cartoon to instill a love of good music. While the plagiarism controversy between WB and MGM was never settled, both are excellent shorts. Though personally I enjoy Bugs’ performance/ordeal just a bit more than Tom’s.
