My last dog didn’t lose her ball/toys ! She would hide them ! She would then wait until I notice that one of them was missing-" I would say Where’s ( she knew the name for each of her toys and normaly keep them in the same general area ) at ?" She would then start bouncing around and following while I went room to room looking !
She was playing hide and seek with me !
I found her toys under my pillow ,stuffed under couch cushions ,under the covers of a bed upstairs I never use ,under a pile of laundry etc !
She was the smartest damned dog I have ever had or known !
As Will Rogers once said "If there are no dogs in heaven ,then when I die, I want to go where they(and my brandi) went "!
