The funniest thing would be a fourth panel, showing the fake plant growing to twice the size it was in the first panel. (A lot of ‘plant whisperers’ say they talk to their plants to encourage them to grow…)-Can’t prove any of this by me. I’ve killed more plants than anyone else I know…
KId Sister’s boyfriend bought some ferns and not being much in to plants, asked her advice. She suggested talking to them. Bill, an ex Army Warrant Officer, ordered the plants to “Grow, you little SOBs!” I noticed the next time I was over the ferns were growing “Flat tops” style, up about two inches and horizontal there after.

Maybe the plant just doesn’t look natural because it’s had too much plastic surgery.
