There was an article in December on ridiculously expensive gifts people buy for Christmas for their children and their pets. I remember there was a dog house on the list, if I remember correctly it was between $50,000 and $250,000. It did have about three rooms to it and included places to plug in for the net and cable TV. Guess the folks who put it on the market had Snoopy’s dog house in mind when they designed it.
Ah, the days when Television was still a bit of a rarity. "Its just a fad, I’m not getting one. We have five in our house. I want to get one for the bathroom but my wife draws the line there.
My grandnieces were up; one was sick, and I told her how we used to lay on the couch, bucket at our side, special “sick blanket” (a beach towel) and cat doing their duty. Why not just stay in bed? Because our only TV was in the living room. And if we wanted a different channel, we’d have to inconvenience the cat.

Of course, back in those days (1951, for instance), we used aerials and antennas.

I wonder if Snoopy’s first TV was in one of his libraries?
