    Fingerprint, mugshot & DNA test them, too, like that scoundrel governor of Texas! The problem is hardly unique to the modern U. S., however. Throughout human history it has been rare that a competent and truly decent person would be a politician.

    Money is speech. Corporations are people. The fact that the Justices who think this way were all appointed by Republicans is why I am afraid to vote for one for president.

    Several years ago, in Boston, a local pol WAS caught by FBI camera accepting cash at a local eatery, and stuffing it into her bra. She was charged, tried, convicted and sentenced. She cried “Racism” the whole time!
