Thanks to bipartisan support of the NSA, the government is one of those spying on us in cyberspace.

Obama’s greatest faillure is the continuation, even expansion, of the NSA overreach, that started with 9/11/01 making it a “free fire zone”. Net neutrality IS an objective to keep the data thieves, and oppressive corporate monopolles at bay, but yes our security is lessened most by our desire for ever larger “security” forces.

Terry and Rennie Russel, in “On the Loose” define it well: “God secure me from security, forever”.

Reading James Risen is also a wakeup call. While I do NOT support those who release properly classified materials (only it seems about 2% of information now “classified” by government- it really went nuts starting with Reagan), the crackdown on legitimate “whiistle blowers” who reveal what is actually NON-sensitive, except for the protection of those corporate raiders, and yes, incompetents in government as well, is a BAD move, no matter which side of “politics” does the cracking down.

With trillions of dollars of profit at stake over time,it IS the “private sector” of government contractors, who threaten our true security, in many, many ways, obvious, and not.

Do not use your credit cards at department stores that have gift cards, use gift cards purchased with cash instead.

Do not use ATMs. Get holiday cash or gift cards at your bank or credit union.

Use gift cards for internet purchases. Buy these for cash at local stores.

Do not leave your house. Do not use your computer. Do not hide under your bed (it might collapse).
