My gawd but you people are delusional morons. You couldn’t cut emissions because, you said, the Chinese wouldn’t. So now they agree to cut emissions and it’s bad because a Kenyan Muslim Communist is in the White House.

You should come back to reality. We have an EPA that is running roughshod over the nation. This is the president who said that we should be paying over $5.00 per gallon for gas. The EPA is putting coal out of business and you say that we can do whatever we want. What fantasy world are you living in?

China has already been working out on the Gobi with solar and wind, making the effort to wean down from coal. Which, the REAL problem here is that MItch and the folks from Wyoming, Canada, Texas, and elsewhere don’t want to see their fossil fuel (gas and coal) sales to China drop. Which, if producing at home is supposed to be good for US, why are they so intent on EXPORTING all our reserves??

Just a note: a Ford or Chevy pickup truck that gets 12 mpg while typically carrying only one person, the driver, will set you back something at or above $58,000 at my local dealer. And electric cars are expensive, how?

Churchie: you will note I said “at my local dealer”- that’s the actual cheapest price on the window for the vehicles you can actually find available on the lot. “Web”, or even advertised prices are NOT what you’ll find available. Way back in ’65 I sold Dodge and Pymouth, and we never had one of those bottom line- stripped down- “as advertised” cars on the lot. It goes way, way, back in auto sales. Hmm, back then even a relative “top ender” was under $4 grand.
