    That’s the problem with the idea that there are internal forces that provide cohesion and prevent dispersion of energy, acting at a distance and without cost. The interconnectivity and interdependence of things is absent.

    They must not be astrophysicists. With NASA equipment, small deviations can mean big trouble.

    As a “little pitcher,” I had ears the size of an elephant. I had a “phonographic” memory, and recorded adult conversations and mulled over their possible meanings afterwards, often coming to strange and wrong interpretations.. I know that most adults don’t think children understand what they hear, but they do. Children at a young age are primed for learning, and they look to adults and older children for it. How many cruelties do I remember from childhood and curse the perpetrators!
