I get the feeling this is like an “F Minus” comic. The wind may blow the bags away, or rain back soak them, or even the leaves may overfill them.

Never criticize creativity, encourage it then discuss why it did not work. Some people need to know from experience that their idea won’t and they need to know why. Instead of using paper bags they should landscaping fabric; roll it out stake it and after the leaves had fallen roll it back up.

Now Peter will have to collect the bags when they’re full, he better hope it doesn’t rain a few times between now and then.

Mow ’an mulch. Never met a leaf that handle 27hp.

This is an example of what I call the “Beetle Bailey Syndrome” – spending more energy in the avoidance of work than it would take to actually do the work. I actually know some people like that.
