Cartoon physics being what they are, the tree will fall away, the ball and the revelers will stay in place until the one out on the limb climbs down and looks up.

DR MISNG Your theory is interesting but what’s to stop the limb, rock, and neanderthal from falling up?

I love Dr Misng’s idea.

I’d like to see it do this: The tree falls over and hits the group on the ground, then the rock hits an end of the tree, leveraging it like a bat to then hit the guy in the tree like a baseball.
