Really nice cartoon, but the line only appears in the screenplay, not in Baum’s book.

The line was in the movie, not the book.

I agree with John Smith! This is usually the one strip where I don’t notice much nit-picking. And this is also my most favorite cartoon! I would usually “my favorite-ist,” but today that would probably draw fire. Thanks, Brian, for making our day, day after day. This is my first read every morning!

That false attribution annoyed me too. But other than that this one is as great as always!

(I love The Wizard of Oz movie, but it does have that one big flaw of turning it into a dream instead of keeping it a pure fantasy like the book.)

Which means you will live forever in your parent’s basement? Better check in with them on that one. There is more out there than one’s own backyard.

I agree with Jo Clear – this just transports me! Those wonderful, perfect moments in time… the artwork is fantastic!

@John Smith – I saw your tongue in your cheek, and it made me chuckle.

Beautiful strip Brian, Thanks for this.

BTW I usually read the strips on my tablet, but today I took the laptop, the nice thing about the tablet is you don’t see the comments on the GOComics app. After reading some of these comments I’ll stick to the tablet.

Some of you guys need to grow up, ITS A COMIC STRIP!RELAX and ENJOY…

I thought some of the guys were just making a comment. I didn’t take them as being “snarky”.

AND BRIAN, BEAUTIFUL! As always, some are just better than others sometimes. :-)

No matter where the line originated, the sentiment behind it says it all…thanks, Brian, for another classic memory.
