In case nobody’s noticed, that applies to presidential elections in the United States also. Aren’t we the ones who started letting dead people vote? Often more than once? If the U.S. elections aren’t rigged, I’m going to need thermal underwear in Hades.
Well, a phony “I Voted?” badge on your chest is better that a bullet hole in your forehead! With Vlad Tepes (aka Vlad the Impaler or Vlad Putin) in town that’s the choice Ukrainians have to make nowadays!
What concerns me most when I see cartoons tackling the Ukraine crisis, is their use of the hammer & sickle symbol.I worry about the value of the opinion as regards the understanding of the crisis: how well informed are you if that simple matter is wrong?
Or have I misunderstood Stahler and he is stating that this latest referendum is a throwback to Soviet era days and their voting tactics? But then it wasn’t the Ukrainian government who held a referendum, the breakaway wannabes did. Or, is he saying the current Ukrainian government wasn’t quite ‘voted’ in?

You are 100% correct, old1953. The media whitewash has affected even Mr. Stahler’s view of the recent events in eastern Ukraine.
