    I suppose you would if you had 6,000 teeth. Income in USA less than $6,000.00 per yr is not taxed. (My kids faced that last year, paid taxes for the first time this year.)

    If figuring the profit on the tooth, don’t forget to deduct all the costs of production – the food eaten, dental care, etc. I think we could show a loss pretty easily. But I wouldn’t advise trying to deduct the loss on your 1040, unless you like IRS attention. ;-)
