Sheesh Jay’s written as worlds worst programer if he can’t figure out how to make a script at least to do that for him.Even casual gamers know how to use a programmable keyboard or game pad to create a macro that repeatedly clicks a few buttons.Someone needs to gift the strip writers with a clue.

Only single clicks are registered. Repeats are not. That’s the first rule of marketing.

They know they’re having no realistic effect. But Rita doesn’t know that. They’re just doing what she says, ‘cause she’s the boss.

They just need a script kiddie and a hacker tool box to pass to a bot net. Remember to roll the IP address and port number so it doesn’t look like just one button. Put in a delay timer so it doesn’t look like a DOS attack.

But, Jay, just think of the training you’re getting for the next big concert or event you want to get tickets to!

the real problem is that while they may be inflating site visits, they certainly aren’t increasing revenue. As a matter of fact the average sales per visit is going down. If anything they are negatively affecting their analytics! (If you can’t tell, I work in eCommerce)

They didn’t go about this in the right way. They should have gotten some metronomes and tied pencils to them so that every time they rocked back and forth, they tapped the return key. They could have all gone home early.
