No problem! Executives don’t get fired – they’ll just close a factory or office or a few stores, and let the working stiffs go. And send the jobs to China.

@Nightshade09 Don’t know where you work, but I have seen 5 CEOs come and go over 10 years.

yes-men will lead to mismanagement.

and whatever you do…don’t make an item that will last, and have you checked the price of a Razor, my Goodness, where did I leave that ‘strop’

Treating people as people, human beings; might help. Have asked republicans to try that, but does not penetrate them.

I certainly agree about the CEOs being overpaid, power crazy and thinking they are actually right in everything they do (ever heard one admit they were wrong?) but expensive labor in factories and offices and government mandates make it easy for the CEO to cite these factors in moving the jobs elsewhere.

Who is going to volunteer to explain this quarter’s results to the shareholders?

Splunge for me, too.

I worked for one company that just got bought out an installed a new CEO. Six months later, it was bought out again. The CEO was crying because his severance package was only $15 million.

I got a suggestion. We can outsource the CEO positions to India too. I’m sure there are plenty of qualified candidates who would be willing to do the job for 1/100 of the CEO’s salary.

I suggested to every elected official that if a company outsources jobs, it needs to pay a “head tax” of $1 per person per hour. So if they outsource to a 10,000 person sweatshop in China, they have to pay $10,000 per hour of operation. Which means they are effectively paying $1.89 per hour instead of 89 cents an hour.

The money the government makes on this program will go into job training here. So far, no takers

If you are the “little man” you should worry,middle men take the blame for the top man…..but when the company fails the top man sees to his needs first and everyone under the table…I mean under him….suffers.

Playing hide and go seek. Seriously I had bosses that when they arrived I would hide myself.
