I say she should let the rascal hang there for a while to teach him a lesson.

Is this a kitten that never actually grows up into a full grown cat? — like Mimi never growing hair?

Some people think they’re being cruel if they don’t let a cat go outside. I’m thinking that the world of bugs, cars, kids with guns or other weapons, and dogs that hate cats makes ‘outside’ a less than friendly place for a lot of cats. If you have some fun cat toys at home, and a few windowsills or other observation posts, I honestly think the best place for a house cat is IN the house.

people-declawing a cat is really amputating the first knuckle of their toes and is cruel and painful. The U.S. is one of the few countries left that hasn’t outlawed the procedure altogether. If you can’t deal with claws you should not have a cat. Maiming a creature for your own selfish reasons is not nice.

Change the record Susie. you say the exact same thing when Peekaboo’s featured. Why do you read this strip anyway? You know she’s part of the family and will be featured too. If you hate cats that much, read some other strip.

@Rikkie Tavi- agree with you 100%. We have 7 and I would never have them declawed!

No cat should ever be declawed. It is cruel and inhumane to the animal. My female cat was declawed when we adopted her from the shelter. Cause of that she has trouble with using the cat box. Like Rikkie Tavi said the U.S is the only country where declawing is not banned.

Look into the Paw Project on Facebook and their website. Their are trying to get declawing in the U.S. banned.

i had never even HEARD of declawing a cat until I red it here. I dont think it is legal here. Our cat worked for us, it kept all the mice and rats at bay. Dont think that would work as well without claws.

I agree that declawing cats is cruel, and can cause them to be biters.
