Must be an American joke…

The joke is not specific to Americans, or any other nationality as far as I can tell.

Pine sap and beetle dung is what I use to caulkaround a bath tub.

Maybe the joke is setting up the fear and dread beforehand and then doing nothing on April Fool’s Day. Just let ’em sweat for a few days thinking something really disgusting is coming.

It’s the old ’ salt in the sugar bowl ’…

I think this is the first time I’ve seen Curly smile…ever.

I think the joke is on us, there is no connection.It is just to get us wondering and wandering (all over the net looking for non-existent answers).
