I’ll have you know that this is an unrealistic and inaccurate portrayal of the tea party. In real life the words common core and socialism would all be misspelled.

I’m all for rigorous standards & holding students & teachers accountable, but not if it means I have to pay for new tests & new books. That’s why I’m proposing that we start allowing corporate sponsorship of tests & textbooks. We can sell ad space, much like GoComics does. We should also explore the opportunities regarding branding of schools, much like most sports teams have made big money off of naming rights to their stadiums.

Yup, thinking for yourself is a socialist idea and using four news sources to tell you what to think (ie Fox News, WND, The Daily Mail, Drudge Report ) is intelligent.

Critical thinking? Like asking why all the so-called ‘conservatives’ like Paul Ryan voted for all deficit raising legislation proposed by the Bush administration?-Why the so-called ‘conservatives’ demanded subsidies for the gigantic agriculture corporations like Archer Daniels Midland?-Nah. Much easier to just focus on hatred of Obama, like the so-called ‘conservatives’ on these boards.

“The party of ‘NO’ to record deficits and spending.”Except for the fact they raised the debt ceiling multiple times during every Republican presidency since at least Reagan.
