If the mutants heal faster, Doc Chase must be aware of it. Wonder why he didn’t mention it…

Some people called it. The rest of us knew it although we didn’t bother to say it. Congratulations all around to everyone.

Now the question remains, why do these particular Topsiders seem to be anti-Topsider?

I contacted Level_Head on the advice of TSOJ, and he is trying to post, bit did not know his posts weren’t being posted. Contact gocomics please. Level_Head has contributed too much to gocomics, Endtown, and Doc Rat to have his page disappear. I rooted through older strips, and yes, sometimes people congratulated him on his work, only to have it disappear. Level_Head did not know there was an issue, although some posts raised suspicions. I think many of us who have been missing his works, and the links to Underground, just thought he was overloaded, because he does overloaded sometimes, even when he is not helping Jenner and ailing Wolf(?) with the Doc Rag page. Please write gocomics and ask that Level_Head’s posts reappear. With respect to Jenner, please nominate Endtown for an Eisner Award. Finally, Great Work Jenner! White Rat Sitting on a Bed of Light was positively inspired. Thanks to you, as well as Aaron; for bringing splashes of color, shadows and light(Chiaroscuro?), to a world in need of it. Our little Fambly of Endtown and Doc Rat supporters are truly blesssed by all the contributions that create a shared bond among all of us.

With the highest respect and gratitude to Level_Head, Jenner and Aaron. Most Sincerely, Respectfully & Fraternally,JusSayin

PS: Now let’s get out there and write gocomics to help straighten out the glitch in Level_Head’s account.aaronneathery@gmail.com is the best way to buy books 3 & 4, as well as any artprints. Click on the links for auctions to find those special prints you know you want, especially with the quantity savings on multiple prints. The Auction block also has a DONATE button, and it would be great if our Fambly could each send Aaron Ten Thousand USDollars, but I think he would be thrilled if a bunch of people sent him a few dollars, without hurting themselves. That’s all for now folks. Thanks, Thanks Very Much, JusSayin

Please overlook the typos in the previous post, especially the one where I misspelled Doc Rat, and left out the word “gets” overloaded.JusErrin (but who doesn’t err occasionally)

Perhaps one, or both of these Topsiders has an illness that Topsider medicine cannot cure.

Yes, that begs the question how they would know of this mutant healing ability, but not know how to mutate to an anthro rather than a monster. But this is a work of fiction, and a darn good one at that. All fiction requires a suspension of disbelief. Compared to the whole mutagenic virus itself, this is a minor leap of faith.

I do suppose there are some limits even to this healing power. Wouldn’t the severed heads that provide the brainpower to the Transporters just grow new bodies and walk away if there weren’t limits?

Of course there are limits. Regeneration ends if you’re dead. Any severe injury that kills you before you can heal, well, ends regeneration. We had deads in the riot. A bullet might do the job. It’s not invulnerability, just faster regeneration. And not that astonishly fast if you take a look at the regeneration ability of a child.

BTW, panel 2. Like I said last week, Clive didn’t need any special sensors to detect Holly’s healed. All he needed was a camera lens to watch her climb onto the cot.

I’m thinking they never noticed the advanced healing because its only possible when topside, or possibly their sense of time is skewed from the artificial lighting in endtown, who’s to say the lights are turned on or off exactly the same rate as day/night occurs topside?

JanBic, another “CAT” contributor has not been heard from for awhile. JanBic, if you are still here, but having trouble posting, contact me or someone through the Underground or the CrossTimeCafe at Jenner’s place. I am JusSayin at both forums, which will allow anonymous personal messages, meaning they don’t share your email if you use “send pm” or personal message.Anybody else? I had thought Level_Head was simply too busy, and perhaps some bailed on the reboot. However, now I suspect some nefarious activity. Anybody wanna rumble? I am pretty sure I know this game, but I don’t know if I wanna play it, and invest time in petty activity. Contact me Underground or through the CrossTimeCafe. SurfStuff55? Are you still here? I know you were going to back off on Endtown a bit, because all you had volunteered for was a lot of work, but I haven’t seen much of you at other strips.

“Not a whole lot of human beings around these days.” makes me wonder just how many topsiders exist nowdays.

BTW, I hope Veteran is enjoying a much deserved President’s Day off instead of being stuck on the job somewhere.

I like how Holly clamped both hands over her mouth after saying, “No human being could possibly heal th..” She just realized that she said she couldn’t still be human.Don’t worry Holly, whatever you are you’re still a person, and a really sweet one at that.

This is the Neatheryverse, maybe anthros need sunlight to heal more quickly. Sunlight is quite therapeutic, and I think I contributed a little to threads about sunlight’s powers, but just a very little bit.

In our world, sunlight is extremely therapeutic, and need to make the right type of vitamins to process other vitamins and minerals. But just a little sunlight a day is enough. Travelling by night and hidden by day, they would still absorb sunlight through their eyes a least, and probably enough reflected sunlight on their skin.

At least on one level, “Endtown” works as an elaborate justification for the use of anthropomorphic creatures—-most things just have animals acting and speaking as human beings, without much in the way to explain it. (One way—-it works on many different levels—-that’s why I enjoy it so much.)

Good luck with the interview. I’ve been in the same boat since last April. Had an interesting phone interview with Boeing in Huntsville, AL last Wednesday and an hour long onsite interview with Spirit in Wichita today. I’m definitely hoping that I get something soon, and here is better. That way I don’t have to move my mostly blind 15 year old English Shedder. Again, good luck!!!

Well, I wish you luck, but I’m really not sure if you need much luck. You seem very intelligent and articulate, and Florida is a growth state for baby boomers. I am sure you are very good at your job, and Florida gets a lot of retirees, who need lots and lots of med tests run and evaluated. Tampa area is nice. It is warm, very warm sometimes, but the Gulf Breezes temper that. Good luck and much success on your efforts to move. I understand wanting a change from weather there, especially this year. And let’s all hope Darwinskeeper finds a great fit for his skills really soon. I know Huntsville can be nice, and all the engineering opportunities there are almost recession proof. I do not know Wichita, but I hope he finds that perfect fit soon. Honestly and Earnestly,JusSayin
