After a big snowfall a month or so ago, my hubby and I saw duck sliding down a snowbank. The would quack like crazy on the way down, flutter back up and start over again. Looked like they were having a grand old time.
Somewhere I have a picture clipped from the Daily Iowan, early 80s, showing a mallard couple standing on the frozen Iowa River. Mr. looks definitely ticked off.
