I get the feeling that one of these days CJ is going to snap and inflict great bodily harm on Ed.

He has no monitor or keyboard. Management has noticed a great cost savings.

Looking at Ed’s pose, I have to ask — just where IS he on the Bumstead family tree?

I always tried to produce a good days work for my pay. I used to be annoyed when I was at work and there was nothing to do (even though I got paid the same) but there were tons of errands waiting for me at home. and at this time of year (shorter days) I never saw my garden in daytime except weekends. Now, I just wish I still had a job that paid nearly what I was making. I’ve learned to live on just SSA and my RMDs, but it’s not easy!

Unlike those on food stamps, WE seniors don’t merit a REAL cost of living raise (even though we paid plenty in.

After retirement, he could slack off all he wanted — and maybe that’s just the problem. In other words, the forbidden fruit factor would no longer apply.
