And they want Ding dongs, bite size brownies, pizza and 5 plates of food at the buffet! And if they ever go to the Dr.‘s for a blood test, the Dr. can’t tell them to lose weight because thats discrimination!
I hate rebates………almost looks like a deal when the store prints out a coupon for “next time” then I forget to use it “next time”. It’s usually some product that I’ll still have some on hand before the coupon runs out. But like you said, not the Pennys…..
No, the “rebates” aren’t the coupons you forget to use next time…the rebates are the other coupons … the ones you forget to fill out and mail in.
So you never get the promised cash back…. but it’s OK, cos you didn’t waste 44 cents on a stamp, and all the time and gas it would have taken to deposit that $2 check in the bank.
Can’t afford new wardrobes? What do they do when the clothes can’t be let out anymore? There is only about 1" seam allowance if that much. But that’s how they are.
Some women loose weight so they can go shopping, new + new shoes to go with them . Oh and don’t forget the new purses to match also.. Yea it can get expensive can’t it?
I don’t like rebates either unless it’s 20.00 or more, has to make the trip to the bank worth it.
And Joy would have to buy new clothes – why? 1) Because she would be 2 sizes smaller.2) Because she’d need work-out clothes.
Burl is right about one thing – there are constantly sales and free coupons for all kinds of unhealthy foods such as they like to eat (not so much for anything healthy and natural).
I still think it’s worth it, and not so expensive for me, because I cook mostly from scratch. Glad that my new lover likes my meals, and cooks well too.
I am looking for a health club that offers about 20% off, 50% off would nearly kill me but I could sure use a 20% weight reduction. Burl, Joy, Verl, and Jerry and gang could all use a 50% off plan and still generously sized I think. Down 2 sizes doesn’t seem like much, but on the other hand I don’t know how mumus are sized, quad XL to XXL might be about a 1/3 downsize.
Poor Patty……in some alternate universe, what may have been, in me, a tingling sliver of lust is, alas, in this hum-drum existence, a stabbing shard of…..dread. Is she but a Joy-in-training, scheduling pants let-out sessions days or weeks in advance while wolfing down Ding-Dongs by the dozens? Say it ain’t so, Joe! SAY IT AIN’T SO!!
I can see a little resemblance in the eyes- even though mine are blue (and she picked a more ornate dress- totally my style). The eldest sister (center) had 3 sons who resemble her a little and at least one of the 3 daughters on the middle sis (far left) is her spitting image.

The Ding Dong rebate is probably $.50 anyway

BTW… Marg is fine….I’m sure she’ll post as soon as they let her have crayons again.
Crayons are a privilege, not a right.

Whenever they go out of town, Patty sneaks over and searches the house once again, hoping that she will one day find adoption papers.
