I agree with them. I wouldn’t want to see any P.D.A. from them.

I think Jer. has a point there. Burl would love for Joy to feed him. If they don’t like to see it why are they turning around to watch? I wonder if others are thinking the same of them? Not liking to have to watch them eat like 2 yr olds? Oh wait mine eats a lot better than any of them.Adults should not have a face full of crumbs after eating .. Anything….like they do

What if they did that, too? Well, projectile vomiting, mostly. ..No, Crabbear, you have no choice. It is your doom to forever be forced to read this strip and others you detest. Day after day. Year after year. It’s an unbreakable compulsion, and if you should manage to avoid it, even for a day, a team of sinister men in cheap black suits would come for you. You would be taken away and returned after appropriate “reeducation,” which would include being forced to read old Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers strips for 24 hours, relieved only by meals of Taco Bell dollar menu chalupas and Tang. You don’t want to risk that. The reeducation staff looks (and smells) frighteningly like the Pennys.

@MeGoNow, good one! Very reminiscent of the writings of Mr Gilbert in “I’ve Got a Little List” and all the complainers will never be among the missed.

There’s a time and a place for everything. The doctor’s waiting room is not the time or place to sit on your boyfriend’s lap and play tonsil hockey (no kidding, this happened where I worked last).

I went to a fast food restaurant the other day, the customer was upset because she had to come inside to get her fries, The horror. The workers started discussing the best way of handling it, making it uncomfortable all the way around. I would prefer PDA as public displays of affection rather than public displays of annoyance any day. Modest expressions of love in public are a beautiful thing.

Modest displays of affection can be very enjoyable in any case (both hands together just caressing each other’s fingers as you chat and looking into each other’s eyes). I know very well how nice, especially on a chilly day.
