Don’t think Agnes goes to Trout’s home. Trout seems to be at Agnes’ most of the time. Actually Grandma probably doesn’t allow Agnes to go to Trout’s home! I can remember situations like that when I was a kid-they other kids could come to my house but I wasn’t allowed to go to theirs.
Maybe because of the short notice and rush to get to the hospital – Trout’s mom isn’t in full warpaint. Probably only had time for hairbrush & lipstick. .She’s lucky Trout recognized her own mom!

I don’t think Tony has ever shown Trout’s mother. Adults are sometimes heard in the strip, but not too often seen.

But, to Trout’s Mother’s credit, Agnes is at least at the hospital. Whatever she may be, she’s at least got enough on the ball to do that.
