beviek: isn’t that something between Dry (whoever he is) and GoComics? Surely if revoking these privileges was in error, Dry could send an email himself?

I never understood why Dry lost commenting privileges.

Peter H…. As Bri said, Dry has a lot of friends here. She has written several times to GoComics and received no answer as to the reason she was exiled,

Those of us who are here almost daily, and enjoy her company, and her comments on this and other comics forums, would like to see her back.We have discovered that alerting each other and generating messages on the behalf of a wrongly banned person helps.

Isn’t THAT amongst those of us who know her?Surely it doesn’t inconvenience you that much to skip a comment if you must?

I remember when 8 tracks were first out and how you could get your favorite singer/group and just listen to all the songs you liked, was the best when you were with your honey and listening to all those romantic songs.

I didn’t have any kind of music player except the radio until 1975 when my husband installed an after market cassette player in my car. I actually had a 97 Buick that had a cassette player standard. I have a CD player now and almost never use it.

Like Susan, I mostly like duct tape (white) frequently to tape together (2)20×20 filters for my furnace,

but the last MUSIC tape that I had compiled was done by my former lover of all Mario Lanza songs (for me to play in my car).

I have MANY many tapes of video material tho’ – had hundreds of Beta, then of VHS and now of DVDs (every episode of every season of Top Chef, Project Runway and many others). Personal ones are on a removable hard drive.

Come on, Daddy! Seize the teaching opportunity. I wish my parents had told me more about their lives before they had me.
