I’m with Mrs. Olsen. Samsa’s bug persona is described as something more akin to a beetle or a cockroach. Caulfield looks more like a cross between a moth and some kind of fly.

Hey, you should listen to This American Life! There was a funny skit about an exchange between Gregor Samsa and Dr. Seuss! It’s a bunch of messages between the two of them about Samsa’s transformation.

bigpuma: Except for the horns, she had a fairly accurate Viking kit – real chainmail. However, I got a better reaction going with the stereotype. And it was a standard tenor trombone – I was playing the horn part. Not as much as third, but second trombone does double one of the horns on occasion – including two of the pieces we are currently rehearsing.

First one I’ve ever guessed before the comic strip said who it was.
