Things can get worse and will unless things are done to change course of the Endtown ship.Wally has been there before.He had to take on Flask to save himself and others.Now there is a certain Jacob Jackrabbit that is the threat.He can’t take him on by going head to head.And Wally loses every fight he gets into.So use that brain for something other than a alcohol sponge and think out a solution.But first things first. Get Holly back to herself. She will never be exactly the same but get some sense into her.By being strong himself it will help her. She was always the strong one but he needs to step up now.In baseball terms for Wally…………Its the bottom of the ninth, two outs, bases loaded, behind by one run, your count is three balls two strikes, and here comes the pitch…..NO PRESSURE, NO FEAR.
Veteran,That was my impression too when Jenner called my attention to panel 3. Ben has already appeared in “Girl Genius”, in the Mechanicsburg hospital scene, why not “Endtown”?
Cooper seems to have a pretty good idea where Endtown is going. I wonder what he’s seen and heard. If we move on to a different story on Monday I’ll…well I’ll be very disappointed.
Thinking about this since I saw it this morning…I’m getting a good “Let us return to the Endtown of yesteryear” vibe…maybe Cooper will share some memories of how Endtown happened come Monday morning.#Or not. Ever since Flask’s story, I’ve been impressed by how “off” my projections have been.
“Mission points”…“subsistence”…so something of the monetary arrangements of Endtown life emerge from the shadows. A couple of questions arise, though…like, “who’s been on a mission since the milk trial and riots, and how did they get to the surface past the security rats?” Or “wasn’t Wally promised a lucrative deal for going on that mission with Flask?…did they renege on it?…or did Wally and / or Holly blow through it all already?”
