When my sister had a cast on her arm it itched a lot. She kept a bicycle pump hand to pump air into the cast since she couldn’t scratch it.

They have a similar gag going on in Non Sequitur. It must be some kind of comic strip hell for teachers that, while you never age, you get the same students year after year.

Typically, about six weeks at the inside. And I think Caulfield was trying to say “Max Scherzer isn’t the only one who throws sliders.”

using a wire coat hanger would be the quickest way to get an itchy cast removed (the infection would make removal necessary!)
