Actually, for each genre of music, I can think of a lot of different jam sessions I’d like to see…=For Jazz: Jean Luc Ponty (violin)/ Tim Weisberg (Flute)/ Bob James, Patriece Rushen (Piano/KB)/ Pat Metheny (Guitar/Synth Guitar)/Jack De Johnette (Drums)/ Larry Carlton and Earl Klugh (guitars)/Nathan East (bass)/ Gary Burton (Vibes) [actually a few more names could go in there, too]…=For Rock: Stevie Nicks, Debbie Harry, Pat Benatar, and Janita Haan (of Babe Ruth) (Vox),/ Norm Charlton (of Nazareth),Tom Petty, The Wilson Sisters of Heart, Greg Kihn, Boz Burrell (of Free and Bad Company) Ric Ocasek (Guitar/Vox)/ along with any member of “the Police” and any member of “Rush”=For R&B/Jazz: Herbie Hancock, George Benson, Anita Baker, any member of old or new “Cameo”… could think of a lot of combinations for a lot of genres…

He is too happy. He needs angst, remorse, oppression, the blues, and desire.

And the next time she sees him, he’ll ask why she has school books in that backpack and it will dawn on him to write a sorrowful back to school song.
