That’s why they put one of those cute baby headbands on a baby girl with no hair. When my sister was a baby back in 1968 she had a very tiny bit of very blonde hair so she looked bald so my mom put a tiny pink barrette in her hair. They didn’t have those cute headbands back then.
My Dad was born in 1918. Many of his first pictures show him in a dress-like outfit (nightshirt?)before he graduated to knickers. When my daughter was 1 (1976), my wife was in the grocery when a women behind her said, " Is that a boy or a girl? She’s dressed in green, so I can’t tell!" Glad she wasn’t color-blind!

Yep, a good way to do it. Just don’t try to do it all at once!

Parents color-code their babies, add headbands, etc. as a way of avoiding the constant “is it a boy or a girl” question.
