    Just went to check if Thomas Crapper had ever been knighted. Now there would be a Monty Python sketch. Anyway, turns out that he didn’t invent a flush toilet. Oh well, another great story flushed.

    Thank you for the history. I always assumed it was something interesting like that. Whenever I get too wistful for the “good old days” I think about the “gardez l’eau” scenario among others. And I LOVE your avatar; absolutely beautiful!
