Republicans are pretty amazing these days:-They want NO improvements to Obamacare. They want to repeal Obamacare and revert to the status quo. They do NOT want improvements to pre-Obamacare status quo. They to NOT want low income people to get healthcare.-Their plan to ‘improve’ Medicare is to voucherize it. But, they refuse to discuss this with their constituents in a town hall setting, even with the Tea Party.-They want to privatize Social Security.-They want to privatize, i.e. abolish, the Post Office.-They want to privatize public education.-They want to lower taxes on the richest Americans, referring to them as ‘job creators’ (without being able to show any jobs that have been created).-They do NOT want to improve the infrastructure of the country, even though it is desperately needed and would create jobs. -They desperately want to ‘secure the borders’, but still want to hire illegals without restraint. -They still believe that the invasion of Iraq was in the interest of the country and that no one in the Bush administration lied about anything.-They still believe that the recession of 2007 – 2008 was Obama’s fault.-Like I said, pretty amazing. And disgusting.
