Erm, how do you expect to learn anything in school? Lies, propaganda and useless memorization.

This strip remind me of my favourite NS, where a career counsellor asks Danae what job she expects to get when all she’s learned is how to be obnoxious, and Danae replies, “telemarketer or Sunday morning TV political pundit”.

Congresspeople learn things. They’re called “angles”, and they spend entire careers finding ways to work them.

On the advice of counsel, I decline to mention the Congresswoman for whom this seems most appropriate. Ain’t got no time for re-education camp this summer.

Great comic. Unfortunately, the humor is at the expense of America, run by know-nothings (in both parties). Of course, try to run for office on a set of positions founded on facts, and you will not do too well; remember, a recent Gallup poll showed that 64% of Americans would continue to hold on to their religious beliefs even if science proved them false (which it has, in numerous instances).

Eric Swalwell (California Congressional District 15—Fremont-Hayward-Dublin-Pleasanton-Livermore) definitely fits the bill.…Especially after all that nonsense he spewed on Ronn Owens’ radio show about how there was a “lack” of qualified talent in STEM jobs and that we had to expand the H1B Visa program.…These clowns really need to read the most recent papers published by the Economic Policy Institute—…http://www.epi.org/publication/bp359-guestworkers-high-skill-labor-market-analysis/…http://www.epi.org/publication/current-proposed-high-skilled-guestworker/…The truth needs to be out there that for every Tech job available, there are two applicants that are from local institutions, who are locally born, raised and educated and that there is a SURPLUS of tech workers out there, not a shortage.…Knowing that, why should foreign talent and labor be imported, other than to keep wages down and keep a restive workforce out of these jobs?…And that punk Swalwell “drank the Kool-Aid” on this one.

Seriously, the only way Bachmann had survived for so long is gerrymandering. Get rid of that and I think it would help a lot in clearing out useless politicians.

You can still have religion and see Government as a way for all to be together. The best government is the one that places the least restrictions on it’s citizens. Any religion has it’s book of rules, governments, may need some of them for a civilized society, but the morality laws have got to go.

Political editorial opinions are not intended to apply to star-bellied sneeches, but only to those without? Without balance, any opinion is an empty façade, devoid of meaning and lacking in harmony.

Sorry to both L & R but I see this as Wiley’s on going, wonderful look at the world as it is and I sincerely hope more people will join me in looking at what’s going on in this country without Party-blinders. I do not wish what is happening to us like multiple murders, everyday, from guns, major ecologoical disasters with whole families and communities being wiped out, endless wars, etc on my worst eniemies. (real or imagined.) Wiley does a great job at remaining neutral while pointing out our shortcomings—with a grain of salt. By the way, I don’t know if Wiley is a he or a she. and I don’t really care.
