That truck looks rough now. But about 10 grand would put it in A-1 condition. TJ could possibly get Luann and a few of her friends to help out on it.

An Idea!!! What if TJ operates the truck at the Drama Camp location? Kids are always hungry. Also, Luann could see Quill every day!!!

Another thought, Brad & Toni are both mechanics. They could work on the motor as well as on the body of the truck. TJ could take care of getting the food prep and cooking appliances in shape. That would save a bundle of dough!

Let’s just also hope that he remembers to “line his ducks in a row”, starting with checking for any government requirements (apart from food service license), along with maintaining a good list of food suppliers and the like…. and his menu in a way that he can offer up good business, interesting selection, AND efficiently serve customers…

Typical bosses directing their minimum-wage employees don’t usually sexually harass them and then fire them outright when someone finally calls them on it. You seem to have conveniently forgotten that part of Brad and Ann’s history.

Some of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten (grass-fed, free-range beef, organic veggies, artesian bread) came from a food truck, which was doing a very brisk business at the farmers’ market. Go TJ!

“I moved on!” – perfect motto for the strip this year. Hope it works out for TJ so he doesn’t later have to “move back” to WW.*This truck looks too rough, but turning lemons into lemonade is TJ’s forte. The repair, operation of this truck should provide years of frustrated amusement for all of us.*Great idea, Team Evans!

I just think the whole food truck arc could be an interesting thing. Don’t think Luann wants to go to Drama camp just making food tho’ (not even to see Quill). I still hope her not being accepted turns out to be a prank from Tiff (she HAS shown to have talent- more than Tiff).

“You have to HAVE the Villains (Tiffany, TJ, Ann, Les Knox) to have the Heroes”.

Very WELL Put. But with Tiffany being Largely Ineffectual, Ann DISPATCHED, and TJ “Changing His Spots”, THIS Comic has been a little SHORT on Villains, lately. Heck, there have been MORE Villains in this Forum than in the Strip!

I am impressed. Sure, the truck isn’t factory fresh and not much to look at now, but with a little TLC and plenty of elbow grease, TJ will be sitting pretty.

In a lot of ways, a food truck fits the bill perfectly for TJ. The man is a born salesman. That talent would be wasted if he ever became the manager/owner of a regular restaurant. He is best out schmoozing the customers. And he is quite the cook.

So combining those two traits, a food truck sounds perfect for him.

“Like the Health Department.”^For sure! And in some places, there’s a separate city, county, state H.D. check….--And in some places, this list is consolidated, but not everywhere: There’s the Vendor’s License and Labor Certificate, and equiptment safety cert. Also, some municipalities require a permit to vend there (like in front of municipal buildings, stadiums, etc…) and hopefully he has the right vendors to supply him, unless he shops wholesale…. and if there’s a bunch of “Taco Trucks”, he’s going to need to make sure to have a different menu and theme that will keep the folks interested, and will enable him to handle the orders efficiently… and with that oil puddle under there, regular truck maintenance… It’s not impossible to do this, but thoroughness is going to help him go far…-Lev thinks they might not go into too much detail with this stuff in the strip, which DOES make sense, BUT…. there was the “meals to the F.D. fiasco….”
