Found a plaque for my wife years ago: Cubicle, Sweet Cubicle!

OK, spring break, does she work for the school system or what?

When my children were babies, my husband would go to work to rest.

You know things are hard at home when you are glad to be at work.

So Wally and Joan timed their trip for Val’s spring break? She didn’t have one moment of rest on it. I say they owe her big time.

I knowit is only a comic, but isn’t it nice to have a sister (brother) to depend upon when you get a once in a lifetime trip chance. Also, I agree with Elsie Ross above, it is nice to have a spring break!

Frankly, I think it’s sad when people “escape” to work to be away from their kids. Why have them in the first place? These will be the same folks who later wonder why their teens have zero to do with them.

I know how Val feels sometimes; I go to work at 6:30 and spend most of the four hours hiding in the laundry room doing laundry and washing some windows.

The one disadvantage to being retired is that you don’t get vacations.

I didn’t think office workers got “spring break.” I haven’t had one since I left school.
